hats off to you

Inspired by the 1940s and Carrie from SATC, I’ve started my exploration into hats. Just this past Sunday, I purchased this cute one from Urban Outfitters:

I can’t wait to wear it. I wore this one a couple weeks ago to a nice holiday dinner out on the town:

If you’re brave enough to go for this look, you won’t be disappointed by the countless compliments you’ll get. Not that compliments are my excuse to wear these cute pieces, but why else would you wear a hat unless it was for the hat to be noticed!? That, and to pull together an otherwise boring or plain look.

I think we should all be a bit more daring in 2008!!
