That is what I learned when I walked into Banana Republic with my mother yesterday. I might have walked out with the white sleeveless blouse with the origami folds, but I wanted to take a lot more with me. It’s so Audrey Hepburn in there lately, which makes me want to break the bank.
I was out last night with some girlfriends and there was a girl in our group that had a very Marilyn Monroe quality to her. I commented on that to a friend, and she said, “I know, and I love Marilyn.” I noted I was more of an Audrey girl. Classic, gamine and understated beauty with charm and class.
